We are Julie and Jesper – husband and wife – and Egn Boutique Hotel and Restaurant Egn is our shared dream, created by the love for each other, for gastronomy and for close hospitality. Here on Møn we have found the place where we can combine everything we are passionate about: food and wine, personal care and the small details that make an experience something truly special.

 

Jesper comes from a farm in North Jutland, where the path was originally set for a life as a farmer. But he followed his passion for the kitchen and went out into the world – from Michelin restaurants in Stockholm and New York to the role of head chef at home. Today he creates seasonal menus at Restaurant Egn, inspired by the ingredients, nature and an eternal curiosity.

 

Julie has many years of experience in the corporate world with marketing, strategy and management, but the longing for something more personal drew her away from the meeting rooms. She is passionate about creating settings where guests can find peace and presence – and about developing a place where everything from concept to guest experience reflects our values.

 

At Egn, we welcome each and every guest with personal care, local flavors, and an atmosphere where gastronomy and hospitality go hand in hand. Our boutique hotel is created as an adult hotel with quiet luxury – a sanctuary where you can relax, find time for each other, and enjoy life in beautiful surroundings.
